Original seats are complete but a little rough.

Cleaned up pretty good.

These will have to be sent off to a marine upholstery shop for a redo.
Update - got a couple of “ballpark” estimates. Cost estimated at $1-2k per seat :-(

Started to prep these for professional re-covering. Got a bit of a surprise with the padding…

Here is what I found after a bit of research:
Kapok: Harvested from the seed pods of the kapok tree, this down-like fiber was the industry standard during the 1950s. It was lightweight and highly water-resistant, making it perfect for marine use prior to the widespread availability of synthetic foams. [1]
